Courage, rions

Courage, rions

Jean, age 56, is an illustrator past his prime and prone to depression. To help him out, his wife offers him a laughter workshop.

«  Françoise told me: “I thought it would cheer you up.”
Yeah, sure.
Seeing my friends, drawing while listening to music, rolling in the mud (when you have fur and a tail), driving a motorcycle, swimming naked, a nice cold beer, a nap, a quick fuck, watching the sun rise… OK.
But, since when has a “laughter workshop” cheered anyone up?
I admit, she didn’t exactly say: “I think it will cheer you up”, but rather “You’re always moaning and groaning about something or other so I think it will do you some good.”
Françoise, what were you thinking? What did I do to you, or not do, that made you say one fine morning: “Hey, it’s Jean’s birthday and I know the perfect gift: a laughter workshop!”  »
